I spent 17 years as a professional graphic designer. I started back when typefaces had names like Garmond and Cicero — and that old school training gave me something no YouTube tutorial can: I understand why a design works, not just how it looks.

Then I spent years as a head chef — cooking for 20 and for 400 people. A restaurant owner who shows me a brief understands me differently than a designer who's never stood behind a stove. I know what a menu needs to sell.

Today I'm returning to design — with experience from both worlds, a fresh perspective and Illustrator open on my screen. Based in Hamburg, working remotely for clients across Poland and Europe.
